How bad has /a/ gotten in the last three years? I haven't been on here since whatever season the second season of Oreimo and OreGairu aired. I can't tell if it's gotten shittier, less fun, more on topic, or all three.
To be honest, I feel like nothing has really changed since then, but I've only become recently aware that /a/ has been pretty boring since a long, long time.

/a/ is at its best when basically the whole board rallies behind a show, recent example being KLK. There hasn't really been anything like that in a while though.
But when we remember the past, we remember the genuinely creative posts, the ones which were actually funny, there's a lot of shit that gets filtered in this process, which is why it's hard to give you a clear answer.

Moyashimon's second season came out a few years ago and it wasn't that great. Saint Oniisan got some kind of adaptation a few years ago too, but I never watched it. Still waiting for my Zipang 2 though.
It does weird me out a little when I see old fake charts and some of the shows are fulfilled. Parasyte was a popular one so I was pretty surprised when it was announced.

Definitely. I suppose it's only a matter of time for some of the series on the charts to get adapted but it's still interesting to see how the perception has shifted over time, especially if the adaptation is poorly done.
