What does /a/ think of Tamala?
fucking hipster bullshit
Reading the synopsis on wikipedia makes it look like it's just a weird show for the sake of being weird.
Shit. I've actually seen it too
>hello kity doing edgy bullshit
>half flash, half 3DCG
>plot is incoherent remake of pynchon juvenilia
%100 hipster
I like the aesthetic.
Don't like it, too nonsensical for me
After watching the movie itself, both OVA episodes and Wake Up! Tamala, I have to say it was pretty good. I liked the death-rebirth thing they had going on, as well as the spin they put on the ending with Wake Up! as an epilogue - it changes the entire message of the ending to a surprisingly positive one. I'm a sucker for everything psychedelic and surreal, as well as finding hidden messages everywhere, so I guess Tamala appealed to my tastes because of it. It also reminded me of a long-lost friend who liked it, and told me about it in the first place, half a decade ago.
