Sorry, I don't believe Azudora is dead. You're way too overreacting to the sudden introduction of drama elements and overestimating the level of seriousness. Helck still follows a typical seinen/shounen formula of plot progression: it starts lightly and with comedy and then becomes more and more serious.
And considering that author didn't kill anyone so far, I think he just doesn't want anyone to die in this story.
Drama here is a simple tool to progress plot and explain character's motivation and is not for cheap shock value. I bet author wants to keep this story "light" without any unnecessary edgy and dark stuff.
Azudora will miraculously resurrect in one of the next few chapters.

This manga writting is so average. The only reason why it's interesting is because of the flexible webcomic liberty that allow the author to bend the plot without making sense too logically. Regardless, this is one of those manga where you read for "fun" afterall.
