What other stories have a main that is a kind or naive person but keeps getting pushed around by every evil being and jackass out there until he decides he'll have to start killing his own heart and basically torture anyone that gets in his way until they stop? I don't mean shounen shit with emotional outbursts or random power ups, just a need to change how he does things because of his environment if he plans to survive and keep everyone close to him safe.
