The all around soundtrack is bloody amazing. It still blows me away listening to it and how polished and well fitting it sounds compared to most soundtracks nowadays. Nothing Yoko Kanno has done since Turn A Gundam really has been of quite the same caliber, not even her reunion with Sakamoto and Kazuki Akane for the Code Geass OVA.

Cause when Sunrise is on they're really on which leads to a lot of their stuff having aged well. Underrated as hell for their hand drawn animation, particularly when it comes to mechanical stuff with the gulf continuing to widen as virtually everyone else besides the Bandai Visual affiliates have moved to CGI. It also helps that Inuyasha was animated by Studio 1 which is by far their best. Also Kyoto Animation handled a lot of the in-between stuff so what got farmed out was actually in decent hands for a change instead of some Korean or Chinese company that didn't know what they were doing.
