It's been way too long since I've seen Madoka Magika, and the second movie was way too Shaft (and I fucking love Shaft) for me. What was so stupid about Homura's actions? She couldn't of known that Homura could just sacrifice herself to return all of the magical girls in the universe to normal. And she could repeat any scene indefinitely, thus she thought she could (eventually) play out everything perfectly.
