What makes you think that? Have there been some articles recently on yaraon, animeanime, ANN, Crunchyroll, MAL, or whatever anime-related website there is regarding Nichijou? Have there been myriads of threads of it on 2ch or 2chan?

Well the manga seems to be coming westward. If you really stretch your imagination you could imagine if it makes it big in enough in the west then perhaps the anime could come westward as well and perhaps a sort of revival could come afterwards. But that is really stretching it.

nothing in nichijou really made me belly laugh but it's not supposed to be that type of show
