Best villain

Damn right he was. Most entertaining villain I've read in a WSJ manga in a while.
>>138850486
Too bad his arc never got animated.

The series was super popular back when it was out. I'm positive it'll get readapted eventually. If Ushio to Tora can, I don't see why this can't.

I'd like it. But my only problem is if the re-adaptation would live up to the original anime's first 64 episodes. Plus the amazing soundtrack.

It'll have the same argument HxH and Jojo now have about which adaption is better. Although I have admit the 90s anime will be really hard to beat due to the great directing/voice acting/animation. And this series will most likely explode with popularity again as more people will be exposed to it.

That's true. Which studio would you want for a re-adaptation?

DEEN did a fantastic job back in the 90s, however if they were to do it now it would have some budget but still have QUALITY. Bones did good adaptions with Noragami and Soul Eater, and because Rurouni Kenshin is already finished, we won't have to worry about a BONES original ending. And Finally, Madhouse did a great job with HxH, One Punch Man, and Cardcaptor Sakura. So in the end, I'm fine with BONES or Madhouse doing it. Hell maybe even MAPPA since their Ushio to Tora adaption is great. You?

I think Bones as well. One thing that will always boggle my mind is how DEEN managed to create a masterpiece in Trust and Betrayal after making the abysmal filler Kenshin episodes after the Kyoto arc. It's probably their finest work.

They sort of ruined their reputation over here with the F/SN anime and started the whole ">DEEN" meme. But recently they made some great works like Rakugo and Konosuba, and soon we'll be getting Sakamoto desu ga. Anyways I think Bones can handle the series just fine, but damn Enishi's 90s design looked so good that I wish the Jinchuu arc got animated back then.
