Does Mangaoh ship to the US, or do I have to use a proxy? I already checked the guide.
>>
>>138839149
TOM is so annoying. I have enough points that with free shipping, getting a figure there would be cheaper than amiami, but TOM's release date is two months later. And I know it'll get pushed back further than that.
>>
>>138843919
They should be able to ship there with EMS. Go read their FAQ.
>>
>>138843955
I have a bunch of TOM points from when they got all those out of print figures last year around september/october. Don't know if I'll ever end up using them because of those late release dates.
>>
>>138843955
>>138844086

>>138844441
I'll probably use them and just bite the bullet and say that waiting a month or two extra is worth the free shipping.

This WF seemed to be more towards jointfags. I'm hyped as fuck for the Megami Device line and just about everything Koto showed off. And then there were the new girls Azone showed off.
>>
>>138845342

For me at least everything else I wanted I expected. Getting cute boku girl feet was a nice surprise.
>>
>>138845493

Koto and Azone have my wallet right now. I'm running out of space for scales and figma pricing is getting silly.
>>
>>138837944
Oh shit how did I miss this fig.

>First Boku Girl fig is this good
Sasuga Native
>>
>>138845455
Bunny Hartmann, actually. I was originally going to pass, but I got employee of the month with a fifty dollar bonus, so it's either TOM for less money or HLJ for faster.
>>
>>138845589
Megami Device will probably cost just as much if not more than figmas with the added bonus of having to build and paint them yourself.
>>
>>138845762

You're assuming that. Not saying they won't be but you can't know that. And they'll still be cheaper than shinkis, that I do think we can be sure of.

Picco neemo are more expensive than figmas but you can do more with them.
>>

So buyfags there's an item I wanted to buy but just as I decided to get it on amiami it lists "pre-orders closed"

This is an item I can only get from amiami other than that it's just proxies and I dont want to deal with that.

Is it common for some pre-orders to re-open after the item releases? People cancelling, or there's that chance nobody ever cancels it?

Keep them out of direct sunlight to stop/slow down the yellowing. To reverse yellowing, I'm not sure. There is a method to reverse that yellowing that happened to some NES and SNES consoles. That may work on the bases.

Thanks, seems like it could possibly work. I bought a figured released some time ago and it seems that the base has already yellowed. I might try this but I don't know if I want to test it out on this. Maybe I'll try it when I can find a different figure with a yellowed base.

Encase the plastic in an inert fluid such as Nitrogen, and reduce ~ultraviolet exposure, or any radiation at all!

After keeping a puchinendo of Takane in a water filled glass jar, akin to a snowglobe, for over 8 months, a small film of plasticizer(?) has formed on the surface of the plastic, giving it a powdered look, a few shades whiter than the original color. This film wasn't removed upon water flow and required brushing or solid contact to properly shear the particles away from the surface. The surface seemed intact and no discoloration was present. This film was only present on the figure itself and not on the stand. The water had very little particulate floating in it, very likely from the jar and water itself. When the jar was shaken, bubbles did not adhere to the surface of the figure as well as it did when the figure was originally clean.

Due to the small, curved nature of the figure, it was difficult to properly remove the film across the whole surface area.

go to a print shop. The print will be as good or as bad as you are willing to pay if you have a high enough resolution file in the first place.

Mainly thinking how much it'll cost for frames for them, even the cheaper ones rather than just getting a wall scroll print and calling it a day from there.
>>
>>138853292
Depends on where you live.

1. Find the cheapest standard frame size around the size of the print you want, these will always be cheaper.
2. Find what DPI is needed for a print to look good at that size, there are charts you can find
3. Get over your social anxiety of talking on the phone and call up some local print shops and ask how much it will cost to get a single full colour print at X size and at X DPI

His businesses would be mostly unaffected, as he deals in real estate and importing products to be sold, not buying products from overseas to make things in America.

So you take that information and consider that in voting for the president tax wise you are voting for two things mostly.

1) who will they be focusing on supporting. their cronies, of course.

2) where are they going to redistribute tax money. tax money needs to come from somewhere.

So tariffs on imports doesn't affect trump much or his cronies, meanwhile he needs to bring in tax money. That means there's a higher chance he will introduce customs fees.

Chances are pretty low though for either choice. But if you're voting based solely on that I would vote Clinton. Clinton is a woman though so she might take away your lewd lolis. Trump probably has sex with 12 year olds, he thinks his daughter is sexy.

Fake creeper plants that camouflage the bases might work. You don't have to focus on the lack of a base.

babies can learn language. you've studied language for 12+ years and probably still suck at it compared to people like noam chomsky.

learning is easy for smart people. accepting that youll never be as good as your native language but still trying to learn is where most people fuck up. people try to compare their native language for levels of fluency, but 4th graders are fluent at English.

>>
>>138860120
That shitty base is what prevents me from buying the slut butterfly.
>>
>>138860351

Can you tell me what you used for pegs? Wood dowel pins, nails, etc? These butterflies have a large and small pin each, was thinking maybe nails since it's wood, mark in pencil where they go, hammer them in and cut the heads off.
>>
>>138860400
Nails rust, they are coarse which could cut into your figure's pin hole with pressure, and it's difficult to get them in completely perpendicular.

You're better off drilling a hole, getting some short stainless steel dowel pins and gluing them in. That way you won't have to deal with rust or discoloration.

Make sure that the wood is level or your figure might lean with humidity and high heat. Also make sure that you drill a level hole too. The pins need to be perpendicular to the base.

He said in an interview after, I forgot which manga he did with a happy ending, he's never doing a happy ending ever again. Part of it had to do with not wanting to conform to the norm or something and others were that he actually wanted to piss off haters that kept sending him angry letters, along with a few other things I can't remember.

So yeah, there's always going to be suffering.
>>
>>138860157
This head is ridiculously too tiny, and the seams are ugly. A shame since the clothes sculpt and thick thighs is really good.

>>138860251
The problem stays once you've become fluent in another language already, I think. You keep wondering "why isn't it as fast to learn spanish as it is to learn english?" or things like thatt.
>>
>>138860400
I rarely use the same method for all my figures, we have an old toolbox and most old nails/screws do the job once you remove the rust. You can also go to a hardware store and ask for metal pegs in the diameter you desire.
Going to the hardware store to buy stuff for my buyfag hobby is actually very entertaining.
>>
>>138860592
>difficult to get them in completely perpendicular

Maybe for you it is but I'm a builder. Nailing shit is what I do to afford these slutterflies hence why they were my first idea.

Oh and nails for exterior applications are made from 316 stainless steel.

What is the typical application for the stainless dowel pins? Can't say I am familiar with them so they must be some sort of specialist application.

>What is the typical application for the stainless dowel pins? Can't say I am familiar with them so they must be some sort of specialist application.

I welded together a new grill for my BBQ with some food grade stainless steel dowels. Also they can be used for outdoor antennas. Other than that I can't think of any other use for them other than maybe a wireframe for something that needs to stay outdoors.
>>
>>138860985
No. Some companies seem unpainted and unassembled resin kits instead of painted PVC though.
>>
>>138851173
I honestly don't know if you're serious or not.
>>
>>138860885
Reinforcing things. Making pin punches. DIY jobs. Whatever. I doubt they're used in construction, but they're useful in repair. I see hundreds of them in all different sizes at the mom and pop hardware store.

A stainless steel nail is fine. I just find it easier to drill a hole and insert a rod with glue. Easier to cut straight in a vice, and you're not making sparks all over the place on top of your wood base. Also you can sand it easily and turn it however you want and it's not stuck in the wood. Maybe that's just me. Use whatever you already have.
>>
>>138860400
Use brass rod. You can easily get various lengths and diameters at you local hobby/model railroad shop or online.
>>
>>138860885
>stainless steel dowels

I've seen them used in some furniture kits. I forget what particular brand but they were used to support some shelves or similar.

Brass rod is one of the things actual figures use for this purpose.
>>
>>138861367

Another idea I had was to use a 65mm holesaw and insert the base centers (the green bits) into the holes, using the base's original pins.

Either I'm using the wrong search terms or Bunnings don't carry shit in terms of steel rod in assorted sizes. Smallest thing I found was a 6.3mm aluminium rod which is useless to me.

But thanks for the ideas, gets me closer to a workable solution. I'm just a builder for fucks sake thinking about engineering is not what I do, I just do what the engineer tells me to do.

>>
>>138861791

Two on the big part, one on the small one. That is why I need to fuck off the plastic bases, the figurines will fit since they are essentially wide but not very deep and one will go behind and to the side of the other, but their round bases will not.

>>138861645

Thanks, didn't think they'd sell this sort of shit on Amazon.

If you go to your bunnings outdoor area, look for stuff for wire fencing, should be able to pick up probably like 200m of steel wire for $12 in a number of sizes.
I've been getting some 2mm thick stuff from there for other projects i'm doing, but you could probably find some that would fit as a peg.

If the head actually could rotate that would mean that the end that goes in her body is round instead of square which is certainly not the case. Regarding the hair, it's more likely that due to the casting process the material might behave differently during solidification and can slightly warp. This can actually be often seen on other figures when it comes to the hair.
