I like trains
Post some trains
Guess the show it's from

Hanasaku Iroha
Surprising amount of train porn in this one.
What train could this be? Who knows?
Do you remember, /a/?
>>138837111
I don't.
Before the earthquake (so probably 2010), there was this f/a/d for watching the trains on the webcam at the Aizu, Fukushima train station.
Why don't the japs give steam some love? Modern locomotives are so boring looking
It's surprisingly hard to find HO models of Japanese railways. I wanted to make a counterpart to my WWII Reichsbahn layout but could never find any engines or rolling stock of Japanese origin.

Steam is patrician. They're less like machines and more like living, breathing monsters, snorting and huffing as they cross the landscape.

Train-kun ;_;
Good times, now we have neo /a/ so only few would remember.

>you will never live in the age of steam
Post-war steam locomotives were pretty neat, because they were arguably more effective than diesel.

>tfw British steam trains were able to travel faster than the diesel locomotives can currently travel in your country
I have to wonder why Japan never made an Anime version of Thomas the Tank Engine or a similar concept.

>Anime version of Thomas the Tank Engine
Well, it surely can't be worse than the abomination that show has become in the last 15 years or so.
>>138838477
What? It's still going? I watched it as a kid over 20 years ago.
>>138838369
They don't need to, they just dub Thomas the Tank Engine.
>>138838514
It's CG now.
>>138838578
And is Ringo still doing the voices?
>>138838683
No it's someone else now
>>138838768
I wish trains here were as colourful.

H0 is too large and requires too much space for tiny Japanese flats.
I was dissppointed to find the don't have Z gauge, either.
Their main gauge is N.
They have an awesome selection of models, though.
