Normal armor is affixed to the body in ways that hinders your movement as little as possible. But that all important area is completely disregarded by this armor. It will actually be more difficult to move around in this shit than in a FULL plate armor, while at the same time you cannot trust the armor to protect you, because, after all, half your body is exposed.
