Non non biyori got me into bamboo shoots which are actually amazing for soups.
i looked up how to make gyoza partway through dorohedoro. hardest part was getting the wrappers right, but my little hand cranked pasta roller turned out to be pretty great for that.

I love just snacking on these over rice. Seaweed goes great with soups as well.
