I would say:

>Osamu Tezuka
>Leiji Matsumoto
>Hayao Miyazaki
>Masami Kurumuda
>Akira Toriyama
>Tsukasa Hojo
>Rumiko Takashi
>Yumiko Igarashi

Got any more

Most of the people list had nothing to do with he foundation, unless we are counting every single influential mangaka as founder.

Yoshihiro Tatsumi
Shigeru Mizuki
Shotaro Ishinomori
Takao Saito

Also why is Tsukasa Hojo there?, he is not even that influential when compares with other people on the list.

Osamu Tezuka succeeded in commercialization of AINIME.
However, it is TOHEI to have established the technique of the ANIME

I assume you mean someone other than Akira Miyashita right? Since I don't think he's ever had a real original idea in his whole career. Despite that I still like his works.

Me too even though he's a greasy old perverted bastard

Perverted doesn't even begin to describe it. Based on the last few chapters of the Edajima manga I think Miyashita is genuinely insane. But a good kind of insane.

Go Nagai aka Uncle Go created many genres
>>
>no Go Nagai
Without this man and his early stuggles against censorship anime would be indistinquishable from western cartoons. Be fucking thankful by giving him the credit he deserves for inventing half the genres popular today

Max Fleischer created the moeblob.

This. Max was one of the main influences in anime
>>
Tomino made kids anime that actually expects a more mature understanding of the world than a kid usually has but not too much so, encouraging personal growth. Id say he deserves to be on this list if goddamn Toriyama made the cut

I'm in two minds about whether or not Toriyama should be considered one of the greats. He is very influential if nothing else. But on top of that, the Dragonball manga is actually really good (I hear Dr Slump is as well but I've never read it). But then I'm not sure if he really changed the trajectory for manga in itself, without Dragonball manga wouldn't be nearly so popular outside of Japan (except in France) but very good stuff came out before and after Dragonball which had nothing to do with it.

Even as early as 1979 Miyashita was still drawing people having some kind of intercourse with animals.
