Well, Yonezawa has published a few shorts stories, the latest one was even a bit longer than usual and it introduced new problems, and pretty important ones too, so it might be a sign that we're getting much more material relatively soon. When that happens, I think Kadokawa would be interested in greenlighting a new season. KyoAni is running out of their own IPs to adapt, and they seem to be working with other publishers as well like with Koe no Katachi, so I don't think they're going to be too busy. This is all speculation, though.
