Despite it being well known that Maaya just didn't want to do character songs, I kind of like it in this instance.
It kind of works to make Shinobu seem a little more alien to us, all the other OP's are very personally themed to the characters and theres more of a connection because they're the ones singing them. But with Shinobu all we have is these eerie choir songs. Makes her seem a little more mysterious.
