What does /a/ think about Parasyte, I just finished it today, I overall liked it, although the last couple of episode were a lot weaker, the unbeatable final boss didn't really work for me, looked too much like a video game plot.

I thought it was pretty good, episode 18 is easily one of my favourites. While I like or at least understand the characters and their relationships, you're right about the ending. Don't know how else it could've gotten to a closure though.

It's very dated. It's like watching a 70s zombie movie and having the main-characters explain what zombies are and discovering their weaknesses.

It's great but there were a couple episodes that should've ended immediately after a climactic event instead of moving forward with the story.
I liked the ending better than the manga's. I really liked the soliloquy in the anime that went along the lines of, "it is hypocritical to love Earth without loving ourselves." I can't remember if the manga had the same kind of message but I think I would remember it if it did.
