And Arima, despite being the cause for his mental breakdown, was also the one who helped him recover and was the first bond he made in his amnesiac state. He became Haise's foster parent and most certainly didn't traumatize Haise the same way Kaneki's mother did to him.

Yamori wasn't really considered to be a father figure by Kaneki, not even subconsciously. He was only in a symbolical sense Kaneki's "ghoul father". And for Yoshimura, he certainly helped Kaneki when he became a ghoul, but he also selfishly burdened Kaneki with his own wishes. Arima is probably the first person Kaneki himself considers to be a father figure to him. After all, he spent about 3 years with Arima.

You just have to find the character tags and then click R-18 only. It can be a bit tricky since Google Translate usually gives you the actual meanings of the characters, but you'll get used to it. Genderbending for instance often translates to 'slut body of' or something. The general tag for all Tokyo Ghoul is 東京腐種!
I think the wiki should have the character's japanese language names on it. From there you just need to make sure you're signed into pixiv and have R-18 enabled. If you need more help then there are way better guides just a google away! Have fun pixiv diving/hunting!

Okay, so Ikuma is a ghoul raised by a human woman. He's never killed anyone or contributed to anyone's death at all. He's grown up completely human in a small coastal town.
His human mother was a Doctor, her husband was a Doctor, and her husband died due to illness/overworking. She was pregnant at the time, and blames herself for not noticing.
Now, a few months after giving birth she goes to check on her baby and finds that her baby passed away. Sudden Infant Death Syndrome is a thing. A thing that happened to her. It's storming out. Best woman's baby is dead.
She grabs her infant's corpse in her arms and, in a daze, wanders out into the storm.
Nearby a fight between some Doves and a ghoul has broken out. Best Woman has managed to wonder into that area, and comes across the weakened ghoul by chance. At first she's scared as fuck, but before she can run away she hears the cry of a baby. The ghoul's baby.
In that moment they are but two mothers in a storm. One of them about to be killed, and the other having found their precious child dead.
They switch.
Ikuma grows up with a loving human mother who is in charge of a hospital, and thus able to provide for him. He decided to take up music and later moves to Tokyo.

What bugs me is that in V14 Kaneki was aware of possible deaths of Koma and Irimi and he still wanted to fight. It didn't break him completely like in recent chapter, which could confirm the fact that the only thing that was nagging him from his past was that he had to "protect". Who, he didn't know. It's like a delayed response: he still thought his friends were alive and needed his help, but then Arima told him that he killed them.
And again, I made full circle, because why did he completely lose a sense of self if it was something he just needed to be reminded of? Was he just going crazy at that point?
