So, this show is meant to be a joke right? A parody of some kind with its heavy handed, blatant soundtrack, pretty visuals, one dimensional characters with nothing but gag comedy, and explanation via exposition and direct telling? None of this is supposed to actually be considered good, right? It's poking fun at MMO stereotypes right?

It's decent. You do a good job at capturing the essence of stupid, but I fear you press too hard on the central misunderstanding.
It's obviously a parody, but as comedy it's extremely overrated. Fanservice and harem elements in a series that isn't actually awful and has some funny moments makes people think it's better than it really is.
