Feels like a comfy throwback to another J.C. Staff title, Someday's Dreamers
i'll be honest, looks like a low budget anime through and through out
if you want to keep enjoying the aesthetics, please don't read any further
well, first, they used CG in the trailer, and it ain't something small, the bus was dominating a few cuts
seems like it's outsourcing an awful lot of animators, or just that they're not very good at communicating, ie. alot of objects looks too different to the backgrounds, don't mix well, it won't bother at first, but it'll later if they don't change up
all the colours look very flat, though the colour pallet is a nice choice, they're not using the textures well enough, they stick out too much to have presence of depth before colour
boxes, they could have done something about it, no need to be entirely CG....
all the background (when people are there) are suuper blurred, but background is not worth blurring, doesn't do anything;
usually used techniques when backgrounds are at low quality, blurred background are easier to fix with computers, and the funny thing, all the indoor backgrounds were CG, i know it cuz it's slightly disorientated with the characters.
i mean, if this is a normal episode, then fine, but this is a trailer
10/10 would burn at the stake
