I'm being lead to believe this is the nest anime jesus after classic such as One kek man and boner ass online, watched the first episode was bored to no end why all the hype ? Should I watch the rest? Is it really that good? Or is the rest of the anime season so trash this just stands out?

It's pretty good. Itoh is a good director. The mystery is lame in my opinion but at least the first few episodes were interesting. It's no masterpiece but it's a cut above the usual.
