it's been years since I watched Pokemon, but I seem to recall the Joys being superbland,while the Jennys were often kinda nutty.

Incidentally, I watched the anime before playing the games, and I was surprised the jennys & Joys weren't in there. I'd assumed that they were parody-ing identical NPC characters in RPGs
