The problem with this is Toyohisa is nothing like Alucard, and can never have the kind of bond the latter has with Seras because of the different personalities and circumstances. I'd hate to see any of the characters develop one-sided feelings towards Toyo, I just don't see it working nicely. Between other characters, perhaps.

To be honest they have a few similarity, like their headstrong philosophies and creeds, their never-give-in attitude, their fixation on strength, they're both combat-junkies, they have the ability to unconsciously draw people to their side and inspire a sort of hero worship centered around them.

They're both combat junkies, but for completely different reasons. Alucard was all about giving in, he was very self destructive. I don't know if I'd call him inspirational either, that was a role left to the humans in Hellsing.

People followed Alucard of their own will, remember how all those mercenaries eventually saw him as a great and inspiring leader? Integra got a lot of the credit for blind devotion but Alucard had a lot too.
Also what are you reading? Toyo's self-destruction is his biggest character flaw and the main concern of his comrades. It's talked about in every chapter.
