I recall playing through the loli girl, slut, autist and maid's routes. They were all poorly written which came a as surprise since up until the point of choosing who to go after, the story wasn't half bad. I think I preferred the maid's narrative, though.

Yumiko's route is still really good. I love yumiko herself and the h-scenes are god-tier. It's that it's very conventional compared to the other routes which all do something completely unexpected. Also, even though Yumiko certainly had a hard life, it's nothing compared to the fucking trauma and mental conditions the other girls go through. Therefore there are less raw emotions in her route. Don't hesitate to play it though. if you really like Yumiko, then i would even recommend doing her route first. Afterwards there will be a increase in quality for the next route

Both routes are pretty much the same thing, but Makina is a lot better.
The best order, as it's been said a thousand times is:
1. Yumiko
2. Makina
3. Sachi
4. Michiru
5. Amane
If you find yourself too tired/bored after Yumiko's route, and want something more lighthearted, switch Makina with Sachi.

Juicy Yuuji is really hard to relate to as a protagonist; I keep feeling like I'm struggling to restrain manlet Major Payne. I think a self-insert character wouldn't make sense with the plot, but his issues loom super-huge for a vn. It's not unenjoyable, but disorienting.
I never read the vn because I heard it was edgemaster real deal shit, plus the rest of the trilogy is lost to shekel project territory. is it really not worth watching the anime just to see the girls being hot sluts?

The anime is..iffy. Yuuji is much more serious in the anime than in the VN. In the VN he's ridiculously sarcastic.
Also the anime canon has him not getting with any of the girls so they had to completely change a lot of the girl's routes to fit that narrative. But I still thought it was a fun watch.
