It's pretty much my favourite manga, something about the characters and writing is just so good. The flashback arc about the shelter made me feel sick, it was so psychologically terrifying. Something about it is just so well done.
Feels like we're coming to the end though, since all the survivors are very near to one another now, they're all on Sado or just across from it on Honshu.

By all means, Shuu is actually a well-developed character. He goes from a faggy coward to a hesitating hero to a kind leader to a misguided nazi to a noble hero, and most of the stuff he does is actually pretty understandable considering the amount of shit he went through. Not to mention his own allies were dicks to him, they complained about his nazi-like rulership and turned against him later on, but it's not like they had a better plan to deal with the situation, at least Shoe did save everyone he could.
Really, the problem with Guilty Crown isn't Shuu becoming hitler or anything like that, it's just that the other characters never get developed as Shuu did, or at least not consistently. And the story as a whole goes full retard the moment Gai gets resurrected as the main antagonist out of nowhere and pointless biblical references all over the place, that killed the anime to me.

Off the top of my head, Baby Steps S1 and S2. Both were spot on adaptations that didn't fuck over the source material. Sure they didn't have a big budget but there's really nothing you can do about that but it isn't unwatchable or anything, and S2 does looks better than 1.
AnY, again great adaptation but this one actually had a budget and looked beautiful overall.
I'd say they're currently making Osomatsu but that's not an adaptation.
They can easily do good anime so I just don't get what their problem is sometimes.
