So some studious gent on /m calculated how strong Birdy was (at least from what we've seen).
But that's not all. IIRC she lifts a locomotive in the OVA, though she struggles a lot. That gives us the upper hand of what she can lift. A locomotive's weight is in the 60 - 110 metric tons range, but most of them weight ~80 metric tons.
For reference, the world record ine Clean & Jerk weight lifting is 264 kg. Birdy is approximately 300 times stronger than the strongest man on earth.
Birdy Decode was one of those rare shows that got better in the second season.
Prob my favorite A-1 show ever, which is kinda telling.

The second season is underrated so hard. Nataru made the story about more than simplistic good guys versus bad guys brawling for once. And that one fight scene doesn't look bad at all unless you watched the TV version (you probably watched the DVD) which is where the disgust for it came from.

Just finished season 2 of Decode and Ciphre. What comes next? Do I read Birdy Evolution? The ending to Decode2 felt kind of unsatisfying, is Evolutions a better end?

Decodes first 2 seasons were supposed to set up the main plot for season three with Cristilla Revi.
Decode is actually a loose adaptation of the manga, which more or less tells the complete story (albeit with the rushed ending), but is only 1/3 translated.
