Post anime facts other Annons might not know.
For example: one of the more popular Inuyasha endings "come my way" is actually a cover. Sophie Monk sings the original.

Vinyl 45 RPM records exist of Ranma 1/2's 1st OP theme, the title of which translates to "Don't Make Me Be a Violent Girl." Other people fuck it up.

Dio and Jonathan were partly based off Schwartzneggar and Stallone.
You used to enjoy anime before coming here.
The Madoka India meme is in fact not a meme at all. India is actually a motto for Inu Curry who did some of the Animation on Madoka. One of the members "Ayume" is fighting some sort of illness and is probably the reason behind Inu Curry disbanding after Madoka. None of the animators are actually from India.

Are you telling me you don't know what Inuyasha is?
>>136058894
No, I'm asking how the hell a person couldn't know what Inuyasha is. It was on tv practically every day.
>>136058972
Don't you mean every Saturday?
Christian Bale voices Howl in Howls Moving Castle
>>136058999
Nah. Maybe it's different because I'm Canadian and YTV used to air it pretty much all the time, although new episodes were only Friday night.
>>136059068
Lucky. I had to wake up every Saturday at 4:00am and sneak into my front room to get my Anime crack fix. It was worth it though as is saw shows like Eva, FLCL, Bebop, Champloo and of course Inuyasha.

One of Hideaki Anno's first works was on Nauusica.
He could do it because they needed animators for the movie, so they placed an annoucement in some anime magazine and Anno went, Miyazaki was so impressed by his drawings that he made him animate one of the most complex scenes of the movie (the god warrior that appears towards the end).

This is the most known/Influential anime intro in the world. Try not to sing along.
>yes this is the correct version.
>>136059242
Anno also voiced the protagonist in Miyazaki's last film. I wonder what lead to that decision. I'm guessing the fact that they're on amicable terms has something to do with it, but I'm sure there's some other reason.

Yeeeaaa... YTV had all the anime quarantined in a 2 hour block from 8-10... good times
Anime's actual intended audience is actually Japanese, not non-Japanese as many are led to believe. This is why when someone outside of Japan says an anime is shit, Anime studios does not listen to them and continue doing their own thing. Sometimes Japan doesn't even realized the number of outsiders that watches their anime.
>>136063279
>Anime's actual intended audience is actually Japanese, not non-Japanese
Yeah, no shit?
Who thinks it's made for foreigners. It's made in Japan in Japanese language and broadcast of Japanese TV.
>>136059184
Champloo is back on.
>>136063368
Yeah, but it's an attitude that they're gonna have to move beyond before it bites them in the ass. The aging population of Japan simply cannot support the industry domestically to the same degree it has in the past.
>>136062780
Sry.

Adult Swim used to show Inuyasha twice every night for years about ten or eleven years ago. How could any American Anon who watched AS not know this?
Anime promotes incest

The entirety of the End of Evangelion is blurry for no discernible reason, and Anno raped the color in the new Blu-ray release. I am still mad and Anno is still a hack, and we will never ever in our lives see a definitive edition of Evangelion.

I don't know why I didn't realize this, but you can just buy the original animation cells from the series. I kind of want one.
The infamously out of place rap part of the full Kanon ending was sampled in a BGM in Shadow the Hedgehog.

I never said Inuyasha was a good anime. I just said it has the most consistent endings. None of the anime meantioned in this thread have eight or more good endings. Inuyasha has eight great ending themes songs. You can lie to me but listin and know in your heart you are wrong.

Only humongous faggots wouldn't give stuff they don't like its dues when they're undeniable. Inuyasha's endings are the best despite how one might feel about the anime itself.

Nge has a lot of references to Nausicaa.
For example, Asuka mother treating a doll like her Daughter? that's exactly what Kushana (the "villain" of the movie") mom did in the manga.

despite memes my friend, shows with dubs were ones that were believed to have been enough of a success to sell them across the globe, not that every show with a dub was good, just good enough to sell.
