I think people that waifuize either of the sisters are missing the point that both of them are supposed to be flawed characters with deep seated psychological issues.
Fabuki is incredibly insecure as well as having massive inferiority complex toward her sister. The Fabuki group is essentially a way for her to have "friends", but still be in a position of authority in that relationship so she doesn't have to deal with any of the vulnerability of having actual friends. She's so protective of the B class rank 1 spot because she's afraid that the moment someone else becomes B rank 1, her group will abandon her and join them. She's that insecure. Which is why she's so willing to go to such lengths to secure her position.
I believe one of the reasons Saitama calling her an "acquaintance" affected her so much, is because it made her realize she doesn't have any actual friends. Just subordinates she's bullied into service.
