No, I'm saying these threads have been fine here for years as long as they don't turn into shitpost generals.
The problem is newfag mods that haven't been around long enough to know what has generally been accepted here, even if it is technically a bit suited for other boards. (Not that you're getting any real discussion on /e/ anyway.)
For example, our old nightly blog/story/imouto threads were often as meta and not-anime as you could get, yet mods allowed them as long as it was just one per night and I saw at least one occassion where a mod told a shitposter that the threads were explictly fine as long as they don't go to total shit.
Those threads were some of the best times I ever had with you faggots but now they're gone forever because old mods were replaced with tumblr shitters and anons weren't vocal enough calling out new mods trying to kill our traditions.
(I remember Sakurafish of all people being banned around that time, certainly no coincidence.)
I probably had more to say on the matter but I'm tired and losing focus.
tl;dr - Call out mods on their faggotry when you see it and report it in feedback. Maybe email hiro too if it's especially egregious.

Mods have been doing all kinds of retarded shit lately, so I'm not surprised. Deleting themed threads that have been on the board for ages. Deleting threads which, even if they are against the rules, they've already been up for 1~2 days and are less than 50 posts from bump limit.
