In Eyeshield 21- the coach/manager of the lone American team in the series (until the fucking horrendous final arc) was a racist piece of shit who treated the super-cool and nice black player like garbage, which upset the rest of his team who were really cool and nice people too despite them all being American.
Then the coach has an epiphany after the black player lets him know that he was basically in inspiration to play football. Then he realizes he was bitter over being dropped for a black player, and becomes not such a piece of shit anymore. And again- the rest of the American team are cool, nice people who were excited as hell to go to Japan and meet everyone. There's even a weeaboo on the team who wanted to buy a shitload of manga while they were there.
