It's a rushed incoherent mess which results in the anime adaptation not showing all the clues the viewer needs to figure things out, expanding on the details of why they're important, and the characters come across as extremely flat.

I think during the Rosa torture scene at the end of the second game, they switched Maria's and Beato's lines for some reason. Not to mention Maria's head on the plate looked fucking stupid and was a retarded changed from how it was originally. Little things like that bugged me a lot, but in all, it was a mess.

For what it's worth I think they did episode 1 pretty well, it's just that they fucked up the other episodes pretty hard. Also not including that GOAT goat scene in episode 4 was a tragedy.
