Most of the cliches mentioned in these kind of threads can be expected from just reading a show's premise. So picking up something and then dropping it when it drops the cliches as expected is retarded. Why do you even pick it up to begin with?

But that's wrong.
I start watching every show and drop them as soon as things actually get stupid, so I can say that many shows that sound interesting turn out to be garbage and often shows that sounded utterly stupid/boring turn out to be the best shows of the season.

So in summary, picking anime based on promotional texts, genres or based on /a/ hype levels is stupid.
