I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you’re referring to as Shinka, is in fact, Clip/Shinka, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, Clip plus Shinka. Shinka is not a girl unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning Clip system made useful by the Clip moelibs, hair utilities and vital system components comprising a full girl as defined by CGDCT.
Many anime watchers waifu a modified version of the Clip system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of the Clip which is widely used today is often called “Shinka”, and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the Clip system, developed by KyoAni. There really is a Shinka, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use.
Shinka is the girl: the part in the system that allocates the personality to the other characters that she interacts with. The girl is an essential part of a system, but useless by herself; she can only function in the context of a complete Clip system. Shinka is normally used in combination with the Clip accessory: the whole system is basically Clip with Shinka added, or Clip/Shinka. All the so-called “Shinka” distributions are really distributions of Clip/Shinka.
