S1 is fun but the actual plot is kind of dumb, but worth a watch I guess. S2 throws all the fun out the window and focuses entirely on the dumb plot and guitar riff transitions. I had the most enjoyment discussing it in weekly threads though so I don't know how a solo watch is going to hold up.
