I don't see anything scary. Search suggestions (
"keylogger") don't really work if you can't send partial content to search engine. Similarly searching your contacts or calendar events cannot really work if the search cannot access them. What do you think is going on when you type to Google?
Storing WiFi passwords on cloud doesn't really enable new attack vectors in practice. What is the use-case for turning off malware protection? How does telemetry erode your freedoms? Your phone is already doing all this stuff, the only exception is that generally phone is more personal device containing more PII.
I would understand if the complaint was that automagic updates were annoying or something but making fuss about perceived loss of freedom and privacy when it's not really the case just seems both dishonest and silly.
