So I finally finished the manga and there is something I don't understand:Did all the main girls like Sensei because of Kafuka's implants? Because it still seems like they like him in the spirit world when they have the brides dresses on, and I'd assume that their soul or half soul whatever the fuck would be purged from Kafuka's influence.

And the last few chapters aren't in a spirit world or anything like that, it's literally just some island. The girls were all alive, they were acting as spirit proxies for girls who had died long ago.

>>135339645This page is pretty much the best explanation of what's going on, fairly sure he still loved her before the accident, and she manifests herself in the different girls, so he loves a different one at each time, depending on who is kafuka at that point. I don't think anyone is still literally playing the role of Kafuka, but its basically the same thing as what was happening in the rest of the series with her being in one of the girls.
It's a pretty confusing ending if you think about it too much.
