Maybe when they get good at it. Rarely has a show used CGI well enough that it would have a noticeable different sequence if it were hand drawn. Mainly when using camera angles, because it is way too time consuming, difficult, and there probably isn't too many new animators that can draw scenes with good camera angles and transitions.

In Sidonia it worked since it kinda fit with the theme and allowed for some really cool mecha battles. But for Ajin 3D just seems really inappropriate, especially coming from a small studio on a serie budget.
