I think Toriyama took a couple handfuls of ex-lax in preparation of the shitting he was planning on taking on the portion of DBZ fanbase into it for the tough manly heroes and epic powerlevel battles.
This new arc seems Dragonball levels of silly for villains, maybe even more silly than DB, considering there is fucking misshapen Whinnie the Pooh. I literally would not believe that this was going to happen if you told me a few years back. Good thing I don't care much either way about DBZ ... if I did, I might be pissed.
