Ashito no Joe has gr8 noses. They're so sharp
Dorohedoro. It haves a pretty polluted and caothic artstyle, but after some time you grow very found of it

The muted color pallette was pretty top. I dunno if to call it "psuedo-realistic" or just ugly though, as in, ugly because they don't try to make everyone a beautiful anime character.
Also really like Katanagatari. I think anime set in an older setting take alternative styles better than contemporary settings or futuristic ones. For instance you can stylize the design of a machine but something like draftsmanship in its execution is very important whether it be a robot or car or whatever. But when the human world was a little more organic you can really take more liberties in how its drawn.
Another example would be something like FKMT's art. If you look the only thing that's drawn all that strangely are the characters, he draws most everything besides fairly normal just because he's working with gamepieces and such that all have a standard size that'd look uncanny if he didn't draw them very precisely (and indeed they used to, he's drawn some very janky mahjong walls).

Disgusting, it looked awful 90% of the time. I'm all for experimentation with visuals in anime, but Jesus Christ the actors they used for the live action bits were fucking ugly.

Nearly all of them. But manga is a hell of a lot more interesting as a whole than anime. Guys like Igarashi Daisuke, Nishioka Kyoudai probably won't ever get animated.

Hell, for me it would be easier to mention series with weird artstyles that I didn't enjoy since I usually like those. The only one I really don't is Matsumotos' so with that go any of his adaptations: Tekkon Kinkreet and Ping Pong.

I just find it ugly, it's original and I won't say it doesn't serve purpose, but still ugly. There is another weird style I dislike and that's the style of windy tales. But there's a shitload I do like:
Mononoke, Casshern Sins, Kaiba, Tatami Galaxy, Kuragehime, House of Five Leaves, Gankutsuou, Blue sub no. 6, Katanagatari, Red Line (Trava even more), Kyousougiga, Kuuchuu Buranko, SZS, panty and stocking, tweeny witches
Even though Yuasa is my favorite director, I didn't really find his aesthetic in kemonozume or mind game that appealing either.
