AKB49 guys are still translating a chapter or two before they really give up.
Either way, we have another chapter translated out of nowhere.
Its a good chapter, but this might leave us in an even bigger cliffhanger soon.

No, they like the manga, and there's a lot of fans for it in general, also there is shit happening often in the story, but there's some controversy going on at the moment with some bill being passed in Japan.
I think that's part of it. The group got worried, so I think they shut it all down and deleted their website. Either that or it was some argument between the people in the group. If it was just an argument, I doubt they would have deleted the site though.
The manga itself is ending in a few chapters in Japan; of course shit's been going down for a few arcs now.
