It started quaint enough. A few of us anons started doing some theorizing around the beginning of the Exterminate Tsukiyama Operation. We basically guessed that she was in love with Kaneki and a few other things before she even showed up at the battle. So it started with us all popping off over how hard Ishida was delivering on what most of the board was calling completely retarded fanfiction. And then because of just how intense and good it all was, a lot of others started getting on the Eto train. This was also at the tail end of the height of Rio shitposting, so people who liked Touka were already kind of ultra defensive.
Then it just devolved into really bad shitposting.
