Guys, I need your help. My youngest Elf's been acting very strangely lately and it isn't like her at all. A little background on her. Her name's Moon, she's a Dark Elf, and I bought her from a local breeder of very high regard and impeccable reputation when she was five years old. Her mother was a feral, captured from the wild when she was quite young and who, in her younger years, won best in show no less than six times at the Blackbridge Livestock and Produce Fair. Her father was a breeding stud of excellent quality with marvellous genetics and an even temperament that could trace his pedigree lineage back for over a dozen generations. Though her mother was born wild, Moon herself was born in captivity and has been around Humans and other domesticated Elves her whole life. Up until now she's always been a good girl, very well behaved and good around children. Loud noises don't spook her and she socialises well. Or at least she used to.
Recently, she's taken to playing with her ears in public, peeing in the house and yowling like a cat in heat in her indecipherable Elder Speak about her "N'Shai" or whatever it is she's saying. What does that even mean? When I first bought her I was delighted with how well she got on with my children, and even my icy bitch of a wife grew attached to her. Moon has always been great with kids, always playing gently and never scratching or biting, even when my youngest daughter pulled her hair. She was especially fond of my eldest son, and the two used to be inseparable playmates. Yes, I know it's generally not the done thing to let your Elves mix with Humans in quite so easygoing and informal a manner at such a young age, but Moon always showed submissiveness and respect, so I never thought any harm of it.
