Nah that's Yuto, Synchro Arc isn't doing Yugo any favors. Things are finally getting back on track for the plot but remember the months we been under Synchro Hell. And the tournament itself has dropped Yugo's appeal. Not to mention Sawatarifags and Selenafags have him on death watch.
I won't lie and say that Yuya wasn't affected too. But at least he got his shit together before the time of the Shinji duel. And Crow vs Yuya is gonna be the start of the hype train out of Synchro City at long last.

I like all the dimensional Yus, but I disagree. Yugo might not be that involved with the plot, but I don't blame him for Synchro's shortcomings any more than I blame Yuya and the rest of the cast. The Friendship Cup was just an awful idea. We didn't need another tournament.
Yuto is probably my least favorite of the lot, sure. As for Sawatari and Serenafags, I couldn't care less.

I don't hate on the Yus and each of them have their own characteristics. I'm just hard on Yugo considering how he was on fire since Season 1. He was this mysterious person that knew how to duel and wield a duel dragon. Yes he was a hot head idiot but he still had a sense of control and gave the impression that he was really competent as a duelist.
Then we get into the later stretch of Synchro arc and they turn Yugo into an even bigger idiot. Like for example, if he knew about Trash Town, why exactly would he put someone who just look like Rin who he gotten along with decently in such a position? Wouldn't they at least talk about it first!
I'm a 5ds and a synchrofag so like the others this arc absolutely disgusts me in execution. I just think this arc hurts Yugo more than anyone else considering if what Ono said is true, this is Yugo's time. His big moment to do something before Yuri or Yuya noms him if they really are meant to be one Yu. And if this is where he dies.....I'm going to be upset.
TLDR - All Yus should have fans and to be loved.But if you pick Yuri, you're fusion scum and deserve to be carded for your traitorous ways. And if you pick Yuto....you have my condolences.
