Is it just me that feels like the reason they turned Watano down was because of the art change? Josuke is looking like he came straight outta part 5 rather than 4, having a much thinner/lankier body rather than the swole/built body he had at earlier/mid part 4. The animation's more fluid, but I really would've preferred something like those commercials for Jump looked like.

I think the animation is much better than in SC, but not for the same reason as you guys. Fluidity is I think a secondary quality compared to direction even though the effects are gorgeous.
If we look carefully, even the shitty quality videos we get show a noticeably greater animation, in that it serves the storytelling well better than in the previous season.
