How does the timeline go again after doflamingo was defeated? Wasn't there like 2 weeks after the defeat and before the bounties came out? What are the chances sanji's bounty changes were because of what happened within those 2 weeks instead of some secret past?
For instance what if Sanji realized that as long as Jack has Caesar's gas he's pretty much invincible despite going up against 2 admiral level opponents and decided to take Caesar to interrupt his plan?
And Sengoku/Fujitora decides to thank him by changing his status to alive?

Lots of people here personally dislike Akainu because he killed Ace and thus try to downplay his strength all the time since in a battle-shounen that's about the biggest insult you can give a character.
Anyone that actually pays attention and doesn't let their personal bias get in the way should see that Akainu (as well as Aokiji and Kizaru) are easily among the strongest characters in the entire series up with the yonkou.
