Just watched Glitter Force 1, unfortunately without the support of all you guys. I now remember just how... amazing dubs were in the 90s. You know, where they just wipe out all traces of the original series and make up whatever lines they want. There was an impressive amount of inserted jokes into almost every single line, and plenty of talking during unnecessary scenes. But seriously, jokes out the ass. It's almost nostalgic seeing how Saban hasn't changed a bit.

In the last 15 years alone, women have paved their way into biological and social sciences, to the point where it's saturated with women now, but nobody ever wants to talk about the successes in those fields, only the gaps in engineering, computing, and theoretical sciences.
People are so hung up on gender equality that even the government is shoving stem programs for women/girls down peoples throats, when those programs should be reaching out to all kids because tech illiteracy and lack of interest in STEM is an everybody problem.
With glitterforce they all refer to each other as girls all the time because they're all girls, it makes sense in context.
Saban also knows that catchphrases help sell a product when they stick, which is why they have them voice over the transformations incessantly with APPLY SHADES OF POWER, GLITTER BANDS, and THIS GIRLS ON FIRE.
Precure itself would probably be referring to everyone as girls all the time if it weren't for 皆 being gender neutral and the tendency of japanese to avoid using third person pronouns in lieu of names.
Precure doesn't have to fire the catchphrase scatter gun either because it's a household name and established franchise with prime time tv slots all across asia, their audience is already there.
