When a show dies down in popularity the relatively few threads are either people watching it for the first time and enjoying it, thread dies because there's nothing there new to talk about, or people watching it for the first time and hating it, which pisses off the legions of fans who liked it turning it into a flame war throwing shit around, keeping the thread alive longer and drawing attention to it.

Prisma is literally just the reader's digest version of Fate though (original = fate route, 2wei = UBW, 3rei = HF).
The loli yuri shit is 90% contained in the SoL, with the other 10% being your typical mahou shojo friendship stuff, so if you're ok with that just skip the non-plot stuffs. By the time 3rei airs it'll all be gone anyway, unless Silverlink add in more to milk the otaku shekels
