What's the appeal of Zombieman? He's only had 2 lines max in the anime. I understand that he has had more action in the ONE manga, but what's the point of picking him for merchandising over, say, Silver Fang or even Boros?Does anyone feel like there's a glut of OPM stuff coming out on the horizon, only to not sell because the anime is over?

The special effects are just jokes, I believe. I suppose, if we're to use Dark Angel Rush as an example, he can get a bit stronger with heightened emotions. I'd also venture to say that he can jump higher than the other two, considering how he made his entrance in Sea King's arc. And if we're to take some of the stuff that appears on the manga covers seriously, Pri Pri practices ballet. So, hey. He might be pretty light footed too, hence why he was able to sneak up on Mezalgald. That's just a supposition, but it would give him some style.
Tank Top Master is definitely the only one so far out of the 3 of them to show some kind of technique that's not just punching (he broke the ground Garou was standing on to put him off balance, then followed up with a tackle). Going by the look he and his entire group have, they kinda seem like street brawlers. You know, the kind you'd see in 2d beat 'em up games. So I guess it's appropriate for him to be the only real brawler among the 3.
Darkshine is just pure power and toughness. I don't even think explosions or fire could get through his skin. Maybe acid.

Well, he said someone who could do that would shit on him, not that it's easy for just anyone to do that. Garou was incredibly good, but his technique at that point still couldn't compare to Bang's. Then Garou pushed himself even farther and performed the Cross Fang Dragon Slayer technique alone, which shouldn't be possible and was pretty much the point at which he surpassed Bang.
So unless someone is as good as or better than the rank 3 S class hero, they wouldn't be able to get through Darkshine's defense at all.

Garou was right, 95% of heroes are shit
The Garou vs MB fight makes me wonder how a full strengh MB and Mask would have gone against Garou. I was expecting Garou to get destroyed at first because he later lose against three demon threats, but the matchup thing is pretty interesting and actually works, since it was showed MB is much stronger but if he can't hit it's useless.
Genos is strong but his firepower makes him dangerous.
The three demon threats had the number for them to hit Garou.
Rover was Genosx10.
Psykos had her gravity attack to get him.
Then we had DS who was mostly a powerhouse like MB, but the latter couldn't parry him at all. So what how does MB compare to the him? Was he just slower because of his previous fights? If anything that doesn't push down MB, but show how impressive DS is.

Metal Bat doesn't have a defense like Darkshine. Plus, simple physics. The denser and harder something is, the more force it can strike with. Then there's the fact that Metal Bat has to build up his strength + he attacks with his bat.
Garou was able to parry Metal Bat's bat during his Savage Tornado, but it was hard enough to shock him internally just from contact with his hands.
With Darkshine, Garou couldn't parry him at all. This differs from Metal Bat in that Darkshine's entire body carried the force of his tackle, so Garou would need to deflect a larger area carrying that force, unlike Metal Bat where Garou just had to focus on the bat.

The rankings are pretty accurate in how the power scaling goes. The only ones out of place from what we've seen so far are Metal Knight, since he hasn't been able to do shit in general, and Metal Bat, who has been stated to be capable of taking on a Dragon class opponent and winning, which Genos couldn't do since he got torn apart by Sea King who was on the border of Demon and Dragon class at best.

The entire S Class will fight God. They expect Saitama to be there but he will not show up. With everyone's teamwork and help, they beat God but Saitama also disappears.
Saitama, being an existence that shouldn't exist, becomes the new god of the OPMverse. But since he doesn't know a single thing regarding what to do when he's a god, just does nothing and leaves the fate of man in their own hands. Monsters no longer spawn and the HA no longer has a purpose and decides to branch to different forms of business. Genos joins the idol industry and years go by. When Genos decides to revisit Saitama's house, its empty as usual but then he hears the sound of the door opening and sees Saitama in it.
Since Saitama became a god, he was no longer human and so he could finally fly. He searched the entire universe to find an opponent but none could match him. He treated this as some sort of vacation from hero duty but he didn't think that years would pass and he only expected it to be a week. He just arrived from the vacation and noticed how everything seems so peaceful. He didn't know what to say to everyone because a long time had passed already.
He then decides to take a stroll and notice that people are looking at him. He gets to original location of HA and sees a giant statue of him.
Some other people notice him and they alert the former S Class heroes and they rush towards HA. It was later found out, that during the battle with God, the heroes didn't take the credit and said that God was defeated thanks to Saitama. Thus, Saitama was called the savior of the world and got the recognition he sought for, though he didn't like it.

Well, Bang was also suddenly interrupted by the monsters during his own fight with Garou so I still think it's a little too convenient. In the end ONE was just building up to the big Saitama vs Garou showdown and Bang's lecture was kinda overshadowed by the one Saitama had made.
To me it feels like the relationship between Bang and Garou is unexplored in general. Maybe the martial arts tournament will fix that. We already got a couple of Garou flashbacks in it.

I honestly haven't played. But from what I recall seeing, it's all open right? As in you see enemies on the field and can fight or ignore them at will?
If that's the case, it would make sense. Personally I wouldn't mind a more fleshed out Anarchy Reigns or something and you have a hub world where you can do whatever until a story event happens. The hub world could be whatever city you choose to stay in for the time being unless you switch over.
Or, something akin to an mmo. However, swap empty field space for cityscapes and have monster threats like the Fate events in FFXIV. Short explanation of Fates is that they're events meant for multiple players where enemies are really tough. They only last a certain amount of time until you win or fail. I guess a sandbox game like L.A. Noir would be the closest game to what I imagine (since you're a cop and criminals can get arrested or get away), but it's just so small scale in comparison.
My opinion is a bit biased though since I like large scale games with exploration factors and things to actually do aside from kill things.

Geno's will get manipulated. I think it's too obvious that Metal Knight killed his town. I'm expecting that Engine Knight is a self improving robot made by Metal Knight and Bofoi is attempting to protect the world for when Engine Knight goes loco, which Engine Knight will be revealed as doing to Genos' town in an experiment gone bad.
Engine Knight will essentially be a 90s anime villain where he constantly absorbs new tech and constantly evolves, ala Cell, and is constantly out doing anything Bofoi can invent. Each time that Bofoi fails, Engine Knight gets stronger and gains new shit, like Megaman and he seeks for Robo domination, which is the organisation that the 2 robot guys were from that punched Hammerhead.
