He got so pissed when the ad girl said that every superhuman is a type of human but I don't see the connection or why would it make him so angry.

Is it just me or is this show finally ready to go all out?
I liked all the previous episodes; some of them like episode 2, 3, and earth-chan's episode stood out to me, while others felt a little irrelevant but I gave them the benefit of the doubt that those episodes were developing necessary things.
Then suddenly this episode. The pacing is still fast and exciting, the mystery grows deeper, but it also avoids the breakneck pacing of before.
So is Conrevo ready to enter rollercoaster mode now that it's built up a lot about the characters, background, plot, and world?

I'm assuming it's something that haven't shown. Maybe Kikko heard something about Hitoyoshis that haven't shown even though it already happened. If Claude's real identity already hinted how did all of us missed it?

I think it's trauma related? As in, she saw how the result of Claude go apeshit on those people, and got mentally shaken. Then her dark side (or true side?) awakens. Notice how she got mad and immediately questioned Claude's reason for massacring those people (she mentioned lawlessness, so probably she doesn't like killing people?).
The doll seems already know about her dark side. Or at least he knew that Kikko was in a dangerous state before she ate the thing. Note that this is probably related to the 'doctor' she visited earlier.

My take on the Superhuman Law which will replace the old Functional Secrecy Law is that it will be the complete opposite of it.
Under the old FSL, supers were forced to hide their identity, and weren't allowed to be talked about in official media, because the FSL is a military law, and supers were used as living weapons of mass destruction. Supers were also restricted to what kind of jobs they could take, because they're forced to remain as anonymous as possible.
The new Superhuman Law will at first look like it will allow supers to stop having to hide among the populace all the time, and allow them to take more normal jobs. But then it will turn out that supers must now make themselves known publicly and aren't allowed any privacy, and whatever jobs they can take is actually restricted in the military sector, which in the end actually makes things worse for all supers.

I think it should, along with the anachronic order.
It's not that I think those aspects have been an issue for the first half. However, when the point of the first half is world building, character introduction and building up to Jirou's rebellion, I think a more traditional story structure makes the most sense for the second half, to best make use of that.

I knew it was coming, but I didn't expect it to hit as hard or be nearly as satisfying I guess. I would have liked some of the more interesting episodes to be expanded from 1 into 2 to have more of an emotional impact (some of them were super packed to be fair) and even replace some of the seemingly irrelevant ones.
But now, I don't care about those as much. They weren't the main attraction. There was a point where I was worried that they would just leave the future timeline to our imagination and just keep jumping around and never fill things in, but now it looks like they're going to focus on the present for the rest of S1, and then like you say S2 will connect to the future.

Hmm maybe. Though the way the show portrayed it, looked as if Jirou wasn't hiding a reason. When Kikko asked why he was so mad, he said that the timing of Claude + ad agency probably wasn't a coincidence, and it's that Claude + ad agency are working together. His explanation was a bit impulsive so I feel like he was mad at Claude just because of this suspicion. But who knows, maybe the writers are trying to trick us.

Not all references align perfectly with the year that an episode takes place. Some things are probably just done for the sake of coolness.
Especially since episode 9 was storyboarded by Masaki Tsuji instead of Aikawa Shou, who most likely put less emphasis on correct dates for events except for the Hatakeyamas going undercover.
