opinions on Madoka Magicka, I've heard its good but visually just by looking at the art for it I don't know if its my thing, I love majority of Shaft's anime however magical girls aren't something I've ever watched before.

You'll either love it or you'll feel meh about it. I don't know many people who outright hate it or regret watching it (excluding Rebellion). I'm a big fan of the series, but it's not everyone's cup of tea. Anon bitching about it being overrated like Eva is probably right.
