AI's are perfect recreations of people that once existed. There are three classifications of programs though to begin with; NPCs, AIs, and High Level AIs.
People pass it off saying its an AI so it doesn't count probably, but everything within that simulation is perfectly modeled and far more than a perfect recreation, to the point that Gilgamesh says whatever you see here is truth.
Its such truth that you have a real problem of the programs occasionally gaining sentience and trying to rebel against the simulation, before being deleted in the end.
